How to resolve 'cannot match any routes' error in new angular cli app

Question

I have installed a NEW Angular 6 cli app on digital ocean, but when I run the app I get these errors in the browser and no errors on the backend:

I have a second app that works with the MEAN stack, but this one is for practice without Express.

The app was installed in the raythall-app directory. I ran ng build (specifying the directory) before I ran ng serve.
