AP_SimpleWebServer example times out on Uno R4 Wifi

I am a beginner with arduino, and I've just bought a uno r4 wifi for a project I want to make. To get practice using the board over wifi, I tried to use the example sketch "AP_Simple Web Server" to control an LED with a web server. However, when I go to the link it sends me, my connection times out after a while. The only modifications I have made to the code are filling in the ssid (my network name?) and the password (my network's password) in the secrets tab. Here is the example sketch:

I found a post on the arduino forum that seemed to involve the same issue that I was having. However, I changed the line it said, and the problem is still there for me. It was saying I needed to change the access point's name to something other than my ssid. This is that forum's link: https://forum.arduino.cc/t/r4-wifi-example-help-needed/1206685/8

Does anybody have any idea how to get the sketch to work? This might be a simple fix, but I'm new to working with arduino and don't understand much yet. Also, if I am not using this forum in the proper way, please let me know how I can improve. Thanks a lot.

*Note: The serial monitor sometimes tells me "Please upgrade the firmware". I have no idea what this means, but is it something important or is it normal?. Thanks.
