Open a EEG EDF file using mne python

Question

I need to use mne python for my master degree project, but i'm new in python programming. So i'm trying to open a single EEG edf file, i have tried several codes and none of them worked. The last code i tried:

from google.colab import drive
drive.mount ('/gdrive')
cd /gdrive/drive/MyDrive/EDFfiles
fname = 'chb01_01.edf'
raw = mne.io.read_raw_edf(fname, preload=True)

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/content/chb01_01.edf'

just a suggestion: Firstly try to insert 'chb01_01.edf' in python working directory. Python will find the file or c:\temp_edf\chb01_01.edf. It is easier to find. best

To open a edf eeg file using Python,

import mne

raw =mne.read_raw_edf('')

place the path to your edf file in singlequotes.

This will read your entire edf. also, raw.info will give you the entire details of your file.
